Privacy and your account data

Publisher is a service by 8C Technology LLC. For questions about your data, email customer.service@8ctechnology.com.

What information we use

We store your business name, email address, a protected representation of your password, active catalog, images, design, post copy, and the status information needed to manage your account. We use a session cookie to keep you signed in. We do not ask for a card during the free trial.

Catalog and images

A new Excel or CSV file replaces the active catalog. We do not retain complete versions of the original files. We retain minimal information about posts, errors, and deduplication. Operational hosting backups may retain earlier data until their retention period expires.

Services involved

Hosting, the database, and email delivery use Hostinger. Once the Instagram connection is enabled and you authorize it, Meta will receive the content needed to post to your account. When you use the WhatsApp link or email us, the respective communication providers are also involved.

Contact and deletion

You can request access to, correction of, or deletion of your account data by writing from the email address you used to register. We will verify your identity before processing your request and explain any data that must be retained and the scope of backups. Disconnecting Instagram revokes Publisher’s use of the connection; it does not delete posts already published on Instagram.
